REINFORCEMENTS: Do City need to bring in a left back?
Manchester City are without a recognised senior left back as it stands but they're still flying at the top of the league.
Joao Cancelo has filled in brilliantly on both sides of the back four as well as Oleksandr Zinchenko continuing to deputise despite being an attacking midfielder.
Benjamin Mendy is currently unavailable for selection as he is awaiting trial on rape charges after being bailed earlier this month. He was City's recognised left back until he was arrested.
Having that sort of versatility is great and it is certainly paying dividends for Pep Guardiola's side but on the In Good Kompany podcast, the question about bringing in a recognised left-back was asked.
Along with the striker rumours, this seems to be a usual suggestion for what City need to add.
However, you could argue based on their form and position in the league, they don't need anyone new this month.
Ferran Torres was allowed to depart for Barcelona earlier this month and some loan deals for younger players seem to be on the cards.
The money is always available for City to make signings though - even more so when the club have announced they are back in profit.
So we may see City sign a left back if the right one is available this month.
